Verus Sports Expert Bocce Ball Set with Easy Carry Nylon Case (9-Piece)

I spent a lot of time looking for a good quality bocce ball set, something that would stand up to a lot of use in multiple different terrain because we camp a lot and love to play but our old set started to chip and break apart. These things are awesome, been using them for over a year and they are exactly what I wanted. Sturdy and the best set I've owned.

We wanted something that was close to regulation size (because we're nerds) but wasn't over $100 (because we aren't super serious players). We play on our park's astro-turf courts.Pros:-Close to regulation size for a decent price-A crappy carrying case is better than no carrying caseCons:-They scratch and chip pretty easily.-The carrying case isn't awesome, the balls just roll towards the middle, but it does the job of getting the set from one place to another. I threw a to-go pack of wipes in there because these things get dusty/dirty.

I purchased these because they were pretty highly rated. However, when two of the balls collided during our first game, both balls were chipped. However, I called the manufacturer the next day and then sent me a new set overnight. That is why I have given these a 3-star rating instead of a 1-star. Sadly, I have no way of knowing if the new set will last because I bought them for use at a lake cottage we visit each year and they arrived the day we left. So, I cannot speak very well to the quality of the product, but I can say a lot of good words about the manufacturer and their attempt to make it all right so quickly.

Bought these as a gift for my boyfriend.While they are regulation size, I don't believe they are regulation weight. I would prefer them to be regulation weight if I am going to pay this much.Overall it's a decent set. The dark red and green bocces can be a bit hard to see in the grass, but I like the big bright yellow pallino.We already have some decent sized chips in them due to them accidentally hitting the sidewalk, so when playing make sure you steer clear of any hard surface.

Unfortunately, it's 1000° in Phoenix so we've only been able to play with them once, but they have a great feel and weight. Finding a set was a LOT harder than expected, however, we are VERY happy to have found this one!

The balls are solid, of good quality and weight. The finish is nice, and the marbling is really pretty. The etched lines are deep enough to see well. The finish does mar after use, especially on sand, but nothing terrible.My one gripe is the bag. These balls are very heavy, and after a few times of use the bag ripped along a top seam. If you get these balls, plan on getting a better quality bag to go with them.

Really nice set but the pallino was not yellow it was gray. The reason we ordered this set was because the pallino was advertised to be yellow and that is what we wanted. Not a huge deal but we could've purchased a set locally with the gray or white one. Bocce ball is a family tradition and we wanted the same set as our grandfather. Still very happy with our purchase though.

Ordered in April. Return window expired on 5/31/2020. Balls were stored in cool/covered area. 2 of the 8 balls have established cracks (appears to be only the red balls so it may be a manufacturing/lot issue). Have played on a regulation court, artificial turf surface only. The balls have been used approximately 10x. For any potential purchasers I would stay away unless a better warranty or return is put in place. Even more true in that their add states "SUPERIOR QUALITY- Comes with 8 durable, hardened resin balls that are built to last."

the bocce set was not as advertised. The set that arrived had a bag that was not quite as good and the pallino was a different colour. The fault lies totally with Amazon. I called Amazon before ordering the bocce sets because I required five identical sets. Amazon had only three sets in stock and my concern was that I would receive three identical sets and the other two might be different, so I wanted all five checked in advance and delivered at the same time. I was instructed by a Customer Service Rep on the way to accomplish this. Of course, I received a mixture of different sets. It took 20 days, 10 bocce sets delivered to my home, 5 sets returned to Amazon, and many hours of my time to resolve this. In the end, I did receive 5 identical sets although they were not the ones I originally ordered. Amazon provided me with some financial compensation and while I did appreciate this, it was insufficient to cover the investment of my personal time and the extreme frustration I suffered. I have been a loyal Amazon (.com and .ca) customer for years and this has left a sour taste in my mouth.

Very high quality professional set, I can't wait until the warmer weather to play across the street in the park.
