I typically buy high-end Samsung phones and I decided to snag the 2025 Moto G Stylus as a backup insurance policy. Although the Motorola phone is a little thicker & heavier than its Samsung counterparts, it's also 4x cheaper. After using it for a few days, I have considered using it as my daily driver. The screen is surprisingly sharp, the fingerprint reader is excellent, band connectivity is exceptional, battery life is very good, and has a micro SD card. The one area that I wish was better is the camera, although good enough for most. I run the Nova launcher as my primary and also use the Niagara as a supplemental launcher and it's great. I do miss Samsung's calculator and phone apps, but Google's versions are good enough. If you need a phone that is very close to a Samsung S series, this Moto phone is it and at ¼ of the cost, it's worth giving a shot.

This is the third Moto G phone I have had and I'm very happy with the quality and function. This phone does everything the more expensive phones do and there's no payments. My first Moto G lasted me 6 years and only had to be replaced because I dropped it on concrete. This phone has excellent battery time, quality camera and is user friendly. I am able to talk, text, surf the web, use maps, play games etc. I have 5G connectivity wherever I go. I bought a Moto G for my husband who isn't very "techy" and he's very happy with how easy it is to operate. If you don't want to "finance" a phone and constantly keep upgrading to the latest style or number (iPhone 37 here we come!) this is a great phone to try.

The Motorola moto G Stylus 5G 2024, Unlocked, Made for US, 8/256GB, 50MP Camera, Caramel Latte is a fantastic device. This was purchased for my mother, to replace a previous device that was beginning to have serious problems. After getting everything transferred from her old failing device and setting it up with all of the current updates, it looks exactly like what she is used to seeing. With HUGE differences: 1. It is incredibly quick. 2. Everything is functional. 3. Screen inputs are precise, and touch sensitive. The value is superb. Not only does it include a built-in stylus, it comes with myriad other hardware features typically found collectively on devices costing $1,000+. I like that it includes 256GB of internal storage, 8GB of System RAM, and support for an additional 2TB of external SD Card storage. Does it have the processing power and photographic hardware found in the top-tier Samsung or Apple devices? No it does not. However, at a cost of less than 25% of those devices, it provides a majority of the same features and functions. In one instance, the 3.5mm stereo/mic jack that the moto G Stylus G 5G 2024 provides something that the top Apple devices do not. What I love about it or why I chose it: Micro SD card slot Stylus Screen is beautiful Micro SD card slot Phone speed seems plenty for what I use it for, mostly business related apps and some light social media Fingerprint reader is quick Headphone jack Micro SD card slot - I'll never understand why other phone manufacturers decided we don't need it. Some of us refuse to keep everything on a cloud storage. What is annoying: Mediocre aftermarket support (hello, Otterbox?) Slow Android updates - might depend on service provider. I'm using Visible. Auto-brighness screen gets too dark sometimes OEM apps are garbage - I'll miss the Samsung OEM apps such as Notes, My Files, Sidebar, etc. Physical buttons are on right side, but I'll get used to that What drives me crazy: A known Bluetooth bug when connecting to Ford's Sync 4 (2025 F150) with Android Auto (no ETA on fix from Motorola). It will not stay connected more than a few seconds and the connection cycle repeats over and over. Honestly, the Sync 4 Bluetooth bug has me considering returning it. I used Android Auto a lot driving interstate. Besides this major issue, I think this phone has good value compared to the Samsung Note or Ultra.

Great phone, very fast and smooth to use. Camera is clear and takes nice photos. Big storage and strong battery for all day. Stylus is useful and the color looks very nice.

Phone is good, no complaints so far. Only issue I had was the Amazon driver who delivered it threw it to the front yard behind my car and left it there

This phone is amazing given it's cost. I really love the stylus.

Je l'aime bien sauf pour une chose: pas de voyant lumineux ou d'écran de verrouillage qui clignote de façon continue lorsqu'on a une notification. Alors, si on a pas entendu la notification originale, on ne saura pas qu'il y en a eu une. Par exemple mon Samsung a une led qui clignote et de différentes couleurs... jusqu'à ce que j'aie ouvert mon cell.
