Soft, breathable cotton fabric that is perfect for sewing projects
I ordered this muslin fabric because I love working on different sewing and DIY projects, and I’m always looking for good quality natural fabrics to add to my craft stash. As someone who enjoys making things by hand, the texture and breathability of muslin immediately caught my attention. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was how soft the fabric feels. The double-layer gauze construction gives it that classic crinkled texture that muslin is known for, and it feels lightweight and breathable while still having enough structure to work with. This type of fabric is great for so many different projects. It would work beautifully for lightweight clothing like summer tops, dresses, or loungewear, but it’s also versatile enough for home projects like blankets or even decorative pieces. One thing I really appreciate is that the fabric is easy to handle and sew. It cuts cleanly, feeds nicely through the sewing machine, and doesn’t feel overly delicate. Even if you’re newer to sewing, this would be a very approachable fabric to work with. The breathability is another big plus. The open, airy weave makes it comfortable and lightweight, which is exactly what you want for warmer weather garments or cozy but breathable home textiles. Like most cotton fabrics, it’s a good idea to expect a little shrinkage after washing, so pre-washing before starting a project is definitely recommended. After washing, it still maintains its soft texture and nice crinkled look. Overall, this is a really nice quality cotton muslin fabric. It’s soft, breathable, easy to sew, and incredibly versatile for a wide range of sewing and DIY projects. If you enjoy crafting or sewing, this is a great fabric to have on hand.

Very soft, thin double gauze
I work almost exclusively with cotton and gauze is my favorite type. This particular gauze is double layer gauze, so 2 glued together. I usually find double layer gauze (or what some call bubble gauze) too thick or puffy because I make clothing, but this is very thin, not puffy style. If you have experience getting double gauze at any of the big craft stores, you might be surprised how flat and thin this is. For me it worked out better, because I like single layer best and this is very close to single layer in thickness. It's very soft, softer than typical single gauze, and the color was just as expected. It did have some little snags, but luckily near an edge so I could just cut that away. Otherwise seems as durable as you can expect from a more fragile fabric like cotton gauze. I did get the amount I was supposed to and overall I think it's pretty nice fabric. For those using it for baby or hair stuff, it is the right softness for that. Some muslins are much rougher. I don't know if I'd consider the cost of a yd a value, but I typically buy bulk, so I may just be used to bulk pricing.

A light, white gauze muslin
I ordered this fabric to make custom-sized cloths to cover my bread dough while it rises. I usually use cotton towels or flour sack towels, but I really wanted to have some that were sized just for the bowl I use when proofing my dough, big enough to cover the bowl with a tiny bit extra as the dough rises, but not enough extra where I have to roll the edges up, fold the fabric, or end up having it drag all over. This fabric was perfect for that. It's a light gauze muslin and was easy to work with. I simply prewashed it (my preference, I wanted to serge it with polyester thread), cut the size squares I needed, serged the edges and tucked in the ends. The fabric actually dried with minimal fraying before I went to use it, which was nice. For a gauze, it really seemed to be nice quality and has behaved perfectly for me. I was able to have it in my small air fryer/oven at proofing temps without issue, and it's held up fine. Overall, I'm really happy with this fabric. It was exactly what I needed for my project and has met all my expectations and shows no signs of behaving otherwise in the future.

lovely and soft.
i love muslin gauzy fabrics. They are so soft and flowy. This one comes vacuum sealed so it's very flat at first. i washed it according to the directions on the package and it fluffed right up. It's a beautiful sage green, although my photos do not show the true color. It is the pretty green in the listing. i believe the cut is 36 x 60 inches. It shrank slightly after washing/drying and measures 34x 58 now. After washing the edges do fray slightly and it has some minimal pilling. It's a nice thick feeling gauze and will work wonderfully to make a skirt. This fabric also makes really nice baby wraps and cloth toys. Price is pretty average compared to similar products.

Livstxle Muslin Fabric - Recommend
I really like this fabric. It’s very soft, and I believe it’s muslin, I forgot to check the description. It’s very light and I plan to use this for a light summery top to wear around the house. I got this fabric in blue, and I love the shade. It’s closer to a dusty blue, which is the perfect shade for me. It arrived in a vacuum sealed bag and was clean when I opened it. No odors and there weren’t any frays in the fabrics. I didn’t have a chance to launder the fabric, so I’ll post an update if anything happens to it in the wash. It’s 2 yards of fabric, and will definitely be enough for my shirt project. I recommend this fabric for any project that needs a lighter fabric.

Super soft fabric!
This is a very soft muslin fabric! The weight of it is also great. It is lightweight but has a quality feel to it. I got brown and it is a very pretty soft brown color. This would be great for baby blankets or a number of craft projects. This sews nicely and is very easy to work with. I am very happy with this fabric.

Thinner then expected.
I was making a renaissance larp chemise. The material does not stretch, it is lightweight and comfy to layer with. However use as large of a seam allowance as you can, my shoulders of my chemise are taking such stress im going back in to reinforce with more scraps of muslin. I got the 2 yard cut and made a very simple chemise.
