Sun Hats for Women Wide Brim Floppy Beach Hats Packable Boho Crochet Straw Hat for Summer Vacation Travel

Almost didn’t get this hat because I read it was often returned and flimsy. I’m glad I did not believe bad reviews. Hat is fine. Actually will suit my needs well. As for flimsy the brim has wire unseen running around brim edge. So it has shape and structure. I like the feel of material soft not prickly like some straw hats. Will survive being folded and stuffed in bag or luggage. Price was good too. I think some people are just too picky.

Nice hat, I wished it was a tad smaller but it will still work. It feels comfortable, good price point.

It’s lightweight and breathable. The brim has a small wire so you can fully shape this hat. It’s better than I hoped it would be.

At first I was skeptical because this is one of those straw looking hat (it’s not a straw hat)…you know, it’s not fully covered. You can poke through the holes in between the weaving but I wore this last weekend to the fam and it was GREAT. I never got hot and I think the point of the way it’s weaved is to create ventilation? Whatever the thought behind it is, my head never felt hot or got sweaty! It was perfect! And it’s somewhat flexible and moldable so you can mess with how it sits on your head and get a more trendy look or a more farmer look etc.

Turns out my wife always wanted a floppy hat. She’s excited, and it’s really cute on her. The wide brim can be configured in different ways to help block the intensely strong Florida sun. Interestingly, this is made of “paper rope,” which is a material we are not really familiar with, so we have to assume it has some longevity. The hat is a good value, though that may be offset by the fact that the instructions state “dry clean only.” Long term use will tell the tale if it ever needs cleaning. The environmentally friendly material does allow stuffing in a suitcase, backpack or your pocket and comes out ready to wear. The sizing drawstring is a great feature too. However, due to the lightweight material and its short length, tying it is somewhat of an unnecessary chore. This is a feature that could easily be improved at very little additional cost.

I am getting ready for our upcoming beach vacation and ordered this hat in anticipation of sunshine and salty air. The color is a beautiful neutral that will go with absolutely everything. Whether I am in shorts and a swimsuit, walking along the shore, or sitting at a beachside café in a sundress, this hat works. It has that effortless vacation look without trying too hard. One feature I really appreciate is the wired brim. You can shape it exactly how you want, whether that is slightly dipped in the front for more shade or curved up a bit for style. The woven paper straw design is breathable, and it feels lightweight on my head. There is also an inner drawstring so you can adjust the fit, which is helpful on windy days. The 4.5 inch wide brim provides nice coverage for the face and neck without feeling oversized. It can be rolled gently for packing, which makes it practical for travel. For the price, the quality and versatility make this a smart vacation accessory. If you are looking for a classic summer hat that is stylish, functional, and easy to pair with everything in your suitcase, this one is a great choice. Five stars from me.

My family is going on a cruise in 2 months and I know I need a floppy hat like this! I love the light color and shape of this hat! The edge of the brim has wire in it so you can adjust it how you like it, which is a nice touch. I’ve never seen that in a floppy hat. The quality of the hat is nice. I wanted a hat most for sun protection but this hat doesn’t have a very large brim so I will be wearing it with plenty of sun screen. The hat fits pretty snuggly and I haven’t had any issues with it blowing away, although I haven’t been in much wind. We do have a pool outback and I haven’t worn in a few times out there without issue. This hat is a nice value for the money and I would recommend it!

Nice lightweight hat that, at around $ 10 or so, is quite affordable. My only concern is with respect to quality: my own hat had a metal "loop" sticking out (see pic). I was able to put it back in place, but I'm not sure how long-term that solution will be. That said, at this price point I'm not too disappointed - and the hat itself should provide welcome sun protection at the beach. Added bonus: the hat folds up nicely, so it should be easy enough to throw in the old beach bag...
