Do not buy these! This kept making my tire go flat and no one in my town could figure out why my tire kept going flat until they took these off and my tire hasn't went flat again. So these are a waste of money.

I have a slow leak in one of my tires, and my TPMS takes about half a mile of driving to display the pressure. These work great as a quick visual reference before I leave the driveway, so I can top off with my compressor when I have to. I run my pressure around 40psi, so these work great since my car doesn’t warn me until the pressure is below 28.

I recently purchased a dozen tire pressure monitoring caps and distributed them across my three vehicles, allocating four caps per vehicle. However, by the following morning, one of my tires was found to be flat. Upon inflating the tire and rearranging the monitoring caps upon returning home, I observed that the tire that was initially inflated held its pressure well, but the tire to which the monitoring cap was moved subsequently developed a flat. This led me to suspect that the cap was defective. I contacted Amazon, and they promptly sent a replacement set of caps, advising me to retain the functional caps and return the defective one along with the one’s remaining in the set they sent me. Notably, one of the original caps demonstrated its functionality by indicating low pressure, despite being part of the original set. This particular cap was moved to another tire and upon checking the tire pressure the next morning, I found that the tire associated with the cap was indeed low. Given the relatively short period of usage, approximately a month and a half, it is uncertain whether the cap was defective or simply malfunctioned due to wear and tear. Nonetheless, out of the original dozen caps, ten continue to function properly. I have been acquainted with these types of caps for several decades, having utilized them on my vehicles in the past. In fact, I still had a set on one of my vehicles that I purchased from a local auto parts store over a decade ago. Regrettably, the quality of the ones I recently purchased appears to have diminished compared to what I previously obtained from the auto parts store. I am assigning a rating of four primarily due to the customer service provided by Amazon regarding the product, rather than the product's quality itself. Given the price point, I will be satisfied if the majority of them last me a year. I would like to suggest that customers check their tire pressure weekly for at least the first month after purchasing these, especially considering the 30-day return policy, to ensure they are functioning properly.
