This button down is well made and very light. Perfect for a summer day. My daughter seems to be sensitive to different materials and she loves the feel of this shirt. The material is incredibly comfortable and lets her skin breathe. It’s not sheer but very light, some kids might need a tank top underneath. I think it’s a bit dressier than your average cotton button up too. The color I picked because it matched her eyes beautifully. Fits great; it’s loose and somewhat flowy, so I think it can be worn for a little longer than most regular tee shirts. My favorite thing about the shirt is that I can throw it in her dresser drawer and there’s absolutely no wrinkle to it. My daughter loves to wear this shirts and I appreciate its versatility. A nice button up should be in everyone’s closet!

I picked this up for my daughter and it’s a pretty decent option for school. The fit is exactly what I expected, so I didn't have to deal with any sizing headaches. This is a nice quality shirt, just be aware the material is pretty slinky microfiber (but it is barely thick enough to not be totally sheer). Some kids might like the softness. However, it is not like a traditional cotton button down.
