Despite having no features that make it a fishing pack, it’s a good fishing pack. I’m able to throw a box of jigs and a few bags of plastics to hit the crappie and panfish and still bring a coke and a water bottle. Seems well made, haven’t had it long enough to comment on long term durability.

Story / Use Case: Used this during day fishing and hikes where I wanted hands-free storage for gear, pliers, and a water bottle. Light enough to wear all day and doesn’t get in the way when casting. What I Like: - Multiple zippered compartments fit tackle, tools, and snacks. - Built-in water bottle holder is secure and easy to access. - Waist strap adjusts well and stays in place while walking. - Durable fabric holds up to brush and light splashes. - Compact but holds enough for minimalist fishing setups. - Fits big men. What I Dislike: - Bottle holder fits standard bottles but not oversized ones. - Zippers are fine but not waterproof, avoid full submersion. Tips / Technical Notes: Pack lighter lures and essentials to keep weight comfortable. Can also be worn as a sling if preferred. Bottom Line: Solid fishing waist pack with good organization and water bottle storage, great for bank fishing or short hikes.

I got this item to use as a small fishing pack, but there's nothing really about it that makes it special for fishing. That being said, it's a great value as an all-purpose fanny pack. The main pocket is a good size, the water bottle holders are nice, and the various straps and bungees are convenient for securing items. I especially like the removable shoulder straps. I have a flat bottom, so fanny packs or anything else I try to strap around my waist usually falls right off. The fact that the shoulder straps are removable is nice in case you ever decide you don't need them. Like I said, it's marketed as a fishing bag, but I have another fishing fanny pack from a major brand that is a far better purpose-built fishing fanny pack. However, it was probably 4 times more expensive. You could absolutely use this bag for fishing, but it lacks the typical fishing bag features. I am more likely to use it for day hikes or even skiing.

I love this waist bag! It secures well for traveling with use of the shoulder straps. I'm going to use it on my next fossil hunt as it'll carry everything I need and I can hold all the small shark teeth I find in it. It also works well for outings with the kids for holding the firstaid kit and the tons of snacks we need to bring everywhere, as well as two water bottles! It seems well made and the material is pretty thick! It seems like it will handle a lot. The only thing that I found a little odd is the front pocket. It is split down the middle and both sides have zippers, but it's one big compartment. Not sure if I'm missing a functional reason for this since I don't fish. I'll still use the pocket for something. Just something to be aware of. This bag is a great value for the money and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good hiking or fishing waist bag.
