nicely presented, but not the most heavy duty ratchets I've seen
Really well presented with a carry bag and a excellent integrated velcro straps to tie the straps up for storage. I found the mechanism to operate smoothly and hold well. Easy to adjust the length. My real complaint (-1 star) is that the ratchet mechanism metal is really thin. That limits the use-cases for this set.

Two very handy, affordable ratchets. Only buy the longest size though.
So what's the biggest thing you're going to ever need to strap down? Don't know? Join the club! Why this is offered in 5', 7' and 10' lengths with only a $2 total spread in price is beyond me, just get the biggest one - why would you limit yourself! In fact, I'd have got an even longer one if it was offered. The promotional video on the web page does a good job showing how to use this, but I did have a good laugh at the end with the Break Strength Test when I realized it was being used to pull the truck on the left downhill instead of the other way around. The only thing the video doesn't show is usage of the release mechanism - it's the spring loaded latch release that you compress to release. When tightening the strap, pull it through the ratchet most of the way first - the take up spool can only hold 46" of strap before binding up. The material used for the strap is your typical "seat-belt" fabric. It's a "smooth" weave so it won't damage furniture (too much) if it slips around edges. I've used coarse weave nylon-like materials in the past and they can be like sandpaper on wooden furniture! It's always good practice (and common sense) to protect surfaces and edges that are being strapped down. A nice, practical touch is the integrated velcro strap for keeping the straps neatly rolled up when not in use. There is also a pouch provided to hold both units - if you're keeping them in the car then this would be useful, but in my case they'll be hanging on pegboard hooks. Even so, the pouch is still useful for other applications. One aspect I'm not so happy with is that the strap is sewn locked onto the ratchet. That means if the strap ever breaks most people would likely toss the whole mechanism as well. The strap should have been attached to the mechanism via a friction slip-lock buckle (see the attached picture for an example). That would allow you to subsequently attach a replacement strap of any length to the mechanism, making it a much more universal tool. Aside from the ridiculous market segmentation by strap length, my only other complaint is with the plastic bag used to ship this in. It's yet another non-recyclable thing to immediately add to a landfill. This should have been shipped in a small recyclable cardboard box. I'm sorely tempted to give this a 4 star rating because of the sewn strap and I really detest non-recyclable packaging, but the seller chose a very competitive price point of $13 for two units so I'll relent and make it 5. Please lose the plastic bag though...

Nice straps especially for use on a dolly
I got these ratchet straps to use with my dolly when moving appliances etc. They work really well. The fact that the strap attaches back to the ratchet without having to use hooks makes these work especially well for this purpose. I also use one of these to help hold the boat cover on my fishing boat. These are well made. They operate easily and include a nice bag to keep them separate from other ratchet strap sets I keep in my pickup truck.

These Ratcheting Loop Straps are Ideal for Securing a Load to a Dolly
These 1" wide by 7' long Wsqmct continuous loop ratchet straps differ from conventional ratchet straps in that they are designed to loop around the item you are securing and thus don’t utilize s-hooks (or similar hooks) that have to be connected to close the loop. For a loop application the lack of s-hooks is advantageous because there is no chance the hooks will accidentally disconnect and result in the loss of the load. With the continuous loop ratchet one end of the strap is permanently connected to the ratchet mechanism and the strap is then wrapped around the item you want to secure and then passes back through the slot in the ratchet mechanism and then is tightened. Continuous loop straps have a wide range of applications such as securing an appliance such as a washing machine, refrigerator or furniture to a dolly or securing a transmission to a transmission jack. If you’ve ever tried to secure a load using a conventional ratchet strap to loop around the object the s-hooks always get in the way and they often disconnect when attempting to ratchet the load down. The continuous loop designs lack of hooks also protects the item you are securing from scratches or dents caused by the hooks themselves. I chose the 7' straps but if you intend to use these for appliances I recommend getting the 10' long straps. The ratchet mechanisms function smoothly and the straps are made out of soft but durable nylon webbing and an attached Velcro strap keeps the ratchet and strap secured for storage. If you're looking for a loop style ratchet strap, these Wsqmct straps are a great value for the money.

Overrated
These don't feel like 1800lb straps to me; more like 800lb. These are 'loop' straps; they have no hooks, and are made to wrap around an object and secure back to themselves. This is useful for securing tarps around something, but not for securing cargo to a truck or trailer. These came with an overpowering odor. I have no idea what it is, but it has lingered for several days already. My wife says it smells like cologne. Even leaving them outside to air out, the straps still have a strong smell that just won't go away.
