2025 New Electric Shaver with Intelligent Cleaning Station, 5 Pro Shave Elements & Precision Long Hair Trimmer

From the price of this item I was expecting something of very good quality. I am pleased to say that good quality is exactly what you get here. From the moment I picked it up I was impressed. It's got a nice weighty feeling which makes you feel like it's made well, but it's not so heavy that it detracts from the use of it. I've had a few electric shavers over the years, a few from some very well known brands, and I think this one might be the best shaver so far. The time it takes for me to shave now is much lower than usual because the quality of the shave is just so good. I rarely have to give areas a second pass or go hunting for rogue hairs. The result is a lovely smooth shave which I am always very happy with. The cleaning station is a very nice addition which helps a lot with the general use and upkeep of the shaver. You get all of the solutions and stuff you need for this in the box. Speaking of the general use - the battery life is very good. There is an indicator on the side which tells you how much has been used and it's going down very slowly. Just a few percent per shave. And when the time comes to charge it up all you need is a USB C charger - which is perfect. Overall I have to say that this is a top quality, good value shaver. Even considering that it's £80 at the time of this review.

This came in a pretty big, nice looking, box with lots of padding and protection. It's really all due to the "cleaning center", which takes the bulk of the space. Kind of annoying, to be honest, especially if you don't have a lot of space. The trimmer is inside the box in its own cute box. It's all detailed with colours and information, like a real box, very nice. There's another small black box with the accessories. The liquid solution is part of the padding, placed on top. I was actually afraid of using this as I never used this type of trimmer. I'm used to Philips and Wahl trimmers with guards or just the blades, but not these. I wasn't sure at what beard length I was supposed to use this so I started with an almost 2 week beard. Yeah, no, don't. It doesn't work and will hurt by pulling/tugging. So, I first trimmed with another trimmer and then used this. Okay so this is for a short stubble of a few days. It basically replaces cartridge or Double Edge razors (I also have both of those). I started using it, reluctantly as I was afraid of damaging/cutting my skin. It turns out that, as long as it's a short stubble, it is sooooo smooth and does not hurt at all! It actually feels comforting. As I acquired more confidence, I started using it all over my face and neck. No pain whatsoever. More like a massage. Now, I'm giving it 4 stars (edit: not anymore, see below) because it doesn't trim longer hair, ever if that hair is alone. It's actually a bit frustrating. I passed it many times and it doesn't trim it. But, luckily, this one includes a side trimmer blade, and that ones works fine for those. Also, it doesn't work well above the upper lip. I'm unable to trim properly there. Edit: I managed to shave better the second time so it is not too bad! My neck was a challenge too. It was a combination of using the blade along with the shaver. It's not perfect. This shaver is best for cheeks. It works super fast and efficiently there. The neck takes quite a bit longer as you need to try so many different ways and positions and it's still not perfect. Edit: I managed to do better the second time, not perfect but better than the first time. Bumping up to 5 stars as it's a high quality shaver at a superb price. However, the end result is smooth skin, similar to shaving. The cleaning center basket thing works well. Pour water up to the limit they mention, then plug it in, put the shaver in there, and let the water go up, then drain, while the shaver vibrates. We must turn on the shaver right after turning on the cleaning center, so that both do their thing for about 90 seconds. You turn on the shaver by double pressing the power button. Very easy. It shuts off on its own after about 90 seconds. It's just a bit of a hassle to have to plug in that center just for this. Of course, it's not a necessity and you could do it once a month instead. It didn't remove all hair, because I didn't want to use the solution yet, just water. The solution would help break down oils and such. It is nice to see it work though. I just cleaned the rest manually by removing the head of the shaver and pouring water all over, many times. The LED display on the shaver is nice and displays the battery percentage remaining. Works very well. In 10-15 minutes of usage, 4% were drained, including cleaning it. Great! Edit: Second usage and I am at 89%. Long battery life and I love seeing the percentage! You can lock/unlock by holding the power button and an animation plays on the LED screen. It's waterproof and I was able to fully wash it.
