These 1/4" NPT Plugs are NOT 316 Stainless Steel
These Goldpea 1/4" NPT Male Hex Socket Plugs are NOT 316 Stainless Steel. I installed these in a marine fuel filter housing, and they corroded within 5 weeks. I doubt they are even 304 stainless steel. False advertising and/or mispackaged by the supplier. Unfortunately, in addition to having to purchase new 316 stainless steel components, I will incur additional labor to resolve the corroded plug problem. Reference image of the corroded plugs next to a true 316 stainless steel elbow fitting.
