Solid and stable
This is a solid, stable and heavy stand. It's well finished, and the wood construction is lovely meaning that it doesn't look out of place in a formal environment but equally looks fine at home as well. It's very easy to assemble even if you're not particularly good at that sort of thing usually, and it's adjustable so that it will fit different sizes of cello securely. There is some soft protective material that prevents scratching and there's even a bow hook so that everything is in one place. Given that it's only £70, I think you can forgive the fact that it is quite flat pack-esque when you first take it out of the box. Functionally, it's very decent and aesthetically, it looks absolutely fine.

A sturdy, handsome stand that feels worthy of the instrument it holds
I ordered this cello stand with fairly high expectations because I already own three other instrument stands from Strich (a wooden one for saxophone, a metal one for saxophone, and a wooden multi-instrument stand for sax, clarinet and flute), and this one fully lives up to the same standard. It was very easy to put together, with no unnecessary faffing about, and once assembled it feels reassuringly heavy and stable. That weight is actually one of the things I like most about it. When you’re resting a cello on a stand, you do not want something that feels flimsy or top-heavy, especially when the instrument may be worth hundreds or even thousands of pounds. This stand feels properly grounded, which gives a lot more confidence when leaving the cello in place between practice sessions. It does the basic job exactly as it should, but in a way that feels calm and dependable. Aesthetically, it is also a very attractive piece. The wooden construction looks far nicer than the usual purely functional metal stands, and Strich seem to have a real knack for making practical instrument accessories that still look well made and thoughtful. Taken together with the other stands I’ve ordered from the same brand, I’d say they’ve been impressively consistent. This one is sturdy, well finished, easy to assemble, and genuinely pleasing to have in the room.

Fantastic overs
Very good cello stand. As i have come to expect with strich products I use lots of there stuff and its all very good quality The stand comes in 3 pieces Very easy to construct very clear construction guide and well designed, The strich logo is on the bottom plate with neat and stylish carved boarder area Its quite tall and very firm and sold It has a typical hangar like a guitar style but smaller with protective sleeving to protect your instruments Theres also a bowe hook on the rear It bolts together easily and would look fantasic in any room or musical area Its good value for the price and will likley last a very long time Overall im really happy with it One small issue i did have in this case if im to be fussy and it is the only problem i ever encountrred with strich. On this particular stand the joint in the mid section are two slight different shades of wood Its not matched as well as i would hope but its on the back and not really noticable while in use otherwise im very happy and pleased with it the rubber feet help to protect flooring and add grip i like the design and look of it and it functions very well and as intended my only issue is the wood grain match but its my personal preference and a minor issue its still an outstanding stand

Sturdy and reliable stand for keeping my cello safe
This stand has made my practice space feel more organised and secure. The sturdy construction, thoughtful padding, and versatile sizing make it a high-quality option, and the price reflects good value for a product that will last for years. It’s a practical and attractive way to store a cello safely. I recently got the STRICH Wooden Cello Stand, and it has made storing my instrument so much easier. It feels really solid on the floor, so I don’t worry about it tipping over when I step away. I’ve tried it with my full-size 4/4 cello, and it holds it perfectly without wobbling. The design is simple but elegant, and it complements the look of my instrument rather than distracting from it. In terms of value, it’s worth the investment. A stand that can hold a full-size cello safely while still looking attractive doesn’t come along often at this price. For anyone who plays regularly or wants a reliable display for their instrument, it saves the worry of leaning the cello against walls or chairs. The quality of the stand is impressive. The wood feels robust and well-finished, and the joints are tight and secure. I like that it accommodates multiple sizes, and I could even see it being used for smaller cellos or fractional sizes if needed. The padding at the contact points is soft but firm, protecting the cello’s finish while keeping it stable. It really feels like a professional-grade stand built to last.
