I’ve had this set for a little while now, and I absolutely love the idea of creating your own board game. I currently use it in my 4th grade classroom as a fraction-to-decimal review game, and my students really enjoy it! It makes learning more interactive and fun, especially during small group centers. You can create a variety of games - yet your imagination soar! The materials that come with the kit are actually very sturdy and durable. My only issue was more on my end—I created my game using computer paper and glue, so it probably won’t hold up into the next school year. Also, I realized I’m not quite the artist I thought I was 😅The game board itself is the perfect size for about 3 to 4 fourth grade students to comfortable play the game. That being said, I definitely plan on purchasing more in the future. For what is in the box and the amount of game cards you can create, it is worth the value. This is honestly one of the best finds for teachers looking to make engaging, hands-on activities!

I JUST got this, threw open the box and KNEW I needed to get on here and spread the word to other grandparents/parents. THIS... IS... AWESOME!!!! Got carried away and had to come back and write something like an actual review, enjoy: EVERYTHING, except the player markers and a pair of standard dice is a blank canvas - the box, the cards, the game board, a spinner, four blank dice... and all of it is top-notch quality, made of dry-erasable material and just BEGGING for creativity (believe me, I am having an extreme manic-creative moment since opening the box and need to get through this QUICKLY so I can get to work/play!). Though I do see the point that this is cool and fun for kids, this is an AWESOME project to do TOGETHER, or just shove the kids outside, spread it all out on the dining room table and don't look up until your masterpiece is finished (ok, the kids may need to come in at some point)! This is a TREMENDOUS value for the money - not only will it provide HOURS of enjoyment creating a game but then play-testing, revising, polishing, smearing away all the dry-erase ink and grabbing permanent markers/acrylic pens/whatever and setting it down FOR REALSIES... yeah... nerd alert. I've already messaged every one of my kids that NEXT Christmas, every grandkid is getting a personalized board game. Ugh, I'm digressing... FULLY recommend this set, fun for the family, good stuff, all that. Get it! Me losing it about this product. (also enjoy!): Seriously - I know that this is the "junior edition" and aimed at kiddos making games but for those of us who grew up in the golden age of board games - before there were handheld screens and our TV's weighed as much as small cars and required a little brother to hold tin-foil coated rabbit ears - THIS is an AWESOME way to be creative, bond with the kiddos, and play a game YOU made together! Yeah, kids can do it toooo... but, just in the time since I started writing this I had to stop and jot down FIVE different ideas! Amazon's gonna need to move this into being a subscription item! Thank goodness I'm already retired! I do hope that this company has AMAZING success and they develop a place their customers can share ideas/successes/miserable (yet funny) failures - the whole thing. Seriously, throw it in the cart, go find some dry erase markers, then sit by your front window and wait...
