One of the bulleted items in the description says the necklace is for toddlers, little girls, and teens. A little further down, another bulleted item says it’s for girls 8-12. I can’t imagine letting a toddler wear any necklace, much less one with tiny parts. Most toddlers chew on things and tend to swallow small objects. The actual length of the necklace is 17 inches, with a 2-inch extender. That’s a teen and even adult length. The presentation box is lovely. The card the necklace is attached to has a touching wish for the recipient, but unfortunately the recipient is described as a “little girl,” limiting the age of the recipient. If the card just simply said “girl” or “lovely girl,” it would be appropriate to give to a girl as old as 18. It’s a shame that the online age suggestion is confusing and the card accompanying the necklace is age-limiting because the actual necklace is a treasure. Having seen and held the necklace, I personally think an accurate description would be that the necklace is appropriate for girls 8-12. I would say “8 and up” except for the wording on the card that showcases the necklace. But the necklace itself will be beautiful to wear and to keep for years. It’s sterling silver and carefully constructed. Since I ordered it for a 9-year-old girl, it’s perfect for me. I think you will love it, too, if you are looking for a priceless gift for a girl between 8 and 18. If you’re aware of all these minor concerns and order it for the appropriate age, I think you’ll agree that it’s still deserves 5 stars.

This little cross necklace is dainty and beautiful. I got it for my 2nd grade daughter for her First Communion this April. The quality is great and seems like it will be sturdy enough that it shouldn’t break while she’s running around. The length of the necklace is kind of long and actually easily fits my neck as well, but I think it will be okay for her too. This necklace is a great value and a great gift for any little girl. She hasn’t worn it yet so I’m not sure if it will tarnish or not, but the silver color seems to be great quality and I’ve had similar pieces of jewelry that looked like this and didn’t tarnish in the past.

Quality seems nice and they're cute in size. It appears to be durable enough to wear without worry. I can't speak for the tarnish resistance yet because I've only just bought them but I'll update accordingly. Good for the value. My only complaint is that I hate when companies do not stamp their sterling silver. I'll be having it tested at a local jeweler.

I thought it was really unusual having the pearl along with a cross but I think it is really a stand out when you see them together. This is not something that you would really want to wear daily as a young child because it is very delicate. It would be perfect to wear for church, picture time or any time where she is not engaged in active play. The cross was smaller than I thought it would be but the pearl a bit larger. The value of this is in the delicate beauty of the necklace and the sentiments that are expressed by it. The price point on this is incredibly low.
