So Far So Good
This knife is great. Just got it today, it’s razor sharp out the box, well built, no blade play, and the G10 is very grippy. It borders on being too abrasive but doesn’t quite cross that line. It’s got a good weight to it too. I got the Aegis T version and the hook and glass breaker are quality features on the knife. The glass breaker isn’t sharp so it doesn’t scratch you when you rub it accidentally. I just got it but I’m thinking this is going to be the best EDC knife I’ve ever owned. I wanted a rescue knife that could be a quality edc knife, this is it. I last had the Funxion from Kershaw. It was solid but this is a far better edc knife. The funxion was bulky and something you could put in a go bag. So far so good.

Absolutely phenomenal I will be buying this again from you.
Absolutely phenomenal product. I love this knife. It stays sharp for the most part. The grip is phenomenal. It feels great in the hand. It’s great for every daycare and it’s an absolute work of art

Great knife
Didn’t own a tanto blade so decided to try this guy. Great knife, I use the gut-ripper to cut opening transport covers on new cars that come off trailers. Opens and closes like a dream but I’m more of a liner-lock fan I think

Perfect EDC
Wow! Way better than expected. Been my EDC while my Kershaw Livewire is in for service. This may be the best knife for the price.

A Home Run For A Tactical Folder At A Great Value And Quality Materials For the Price. I Love Kizer.
Oh how I love this knife! The Kizer Aegis T (for tanto) is just simply an awesome folding knife. I have many, many, folders and this one is still finding pocket time despite the tough crowd. It is perfectly sized for every day carry and rivals one of my absolute favorites, the Benchmade Bailout, for what I believe to be the perfect carry configuration. The quality here for the value is just exceptional. AEB-L blades steel is tough and corrosion resistant, and holds a good edge. It is also easy to sharpen or strop back to a working edge in a matter of minutes. The fact that Kizer has also coated the blade here only adds to the aesthetic and the corrosion resistance. The clutch, or axis type, lock is a tried and true industry standard at this point. The G-10 scales are not too rough, but just grippy enough to give you a positive purchase on the handle. Also included are a glass breaker and a liner lock gut hook/seatbelt cutter. The fit and finish here are simply excellent. I have purchased knives at 5-10 times the cost of this knife that don't look and feel as good as this knife does. If you want a premium feeling knife but not a premium price tag, this would be an excellent choice. I have included photos of this knife next to the two Bailouts I own for comparison and you will see that they are very close in size and shape (minus the fact I went with a serrated blade in this case). Also included is a picture of this knife against two other popular knives for size comparison purposes. To say that Kizer is an industry leader in the budget-premium knife sector is probably an understatement. They make great quality products at incredible prices over and over again. This knife is no exception - it is quality and value rolled into a great tactical/edc platform that will excel at just about anything you need a pocket knife to do, and then some. Kudos again goes out to Kizer for another home run!

Versatile design with excellent fit and finish
When I saw this knife I immediately thought it’d be a great design for my bug out bag. The partially serrated blade is great for cutting through cordage and the small belt/webbing cutter along with glass breaker make for a versatile tool. It’s a little on the large side for everyday carry use, although I know a few people who like carrying larger blades. It’s a very well built knife that feels solid in the hand, the texturing on the handle makes it very grippy and overall I found it pretty ergonomic and pleasant to hold. The pivot is very smooth, taking next to no effort on the thumb stud to deploy the blade. Lockup is very solid as well, and while I’d choose a button lock over the cross bar lock here, it’s easy enough to use and works well. The belt cutter isn’t quite as smooth as the main blade, but it’s easy to deploy as well and uses a more traditional liner lock that’s a little on the small side. I’ve always really liked tanto blades and I think it’s very well done here, with both blade segments being sharpened very nicely and the overall blade coming to a mean point. It makes for a great addition to my bag and I think it’s a versatile and rugged feeling knife well worth checking out if the more tactical look is something that is appealing.

A budget high value tactical folding knife, well executed
A knife like this from Kizer was not on my bingo sheet for this year! I own dozens if not hundreds of pocket knifes, from gas station quality to Zero Tolerance. Initial impressions, this one is a great balance of features and build quality for less than half of the butterfly brand. This knife feels great in the hand. Large handle with grippy G10 scales, 4 finger grip even for large or maybe XL hands. Snappy crossbar lock with a thick tanto D2 blade that stays beefy all the way out to the tip and locks up solid. The steel liners are milled to save weight. There is a bonus gut hook tool for safety cutting and a carbide glass breaker on the bottom of the knife. Neither are huge selling points for me personally, but both are relatively unobtrusive and a bonus. The tiny thin liner lock on the gut hook makes me a little skeptical, but it held okay for some light abuse. The blade is surprisingly slicey for how thick it is, and it came razor sharp. Use of this knife is just really phenomenal. The detent is a bit on the loose side, which doesn't bother me, but as this is a Kizer, you can adjust the detent on the crossbar Clutch lock if you take off the scales. I think this is a fantastic hard use folding knife for $60. Even better if you can get it on sale. This is a knockout tactical knife from Kizer, well done!
