My 6-year-old has had a toddler balance bike for 2-3 years and has tried a pedal bike a few times, but his legs are so short it's difficult for him to make the pedals work. We wanted to get a taller bike for him, but he insisted it had to be a balance bike. We can't afford the high-end balance bikes and he is so rough on his bike, we wanted something more affordable and replaceable. This is perfect. It is very well made and pretty. It has a nice matte finish paint that doesn't look like it will chip. He's been riding it for about 4 months now and it's still holding up like new. The seat and handles feel great as well - he has commented on how grippy and soft they are.

Great bike for kids got this after a poor experience with another brand being bent and this one is much better quality! My son rides it non stop and the area for his feet helps him lift his feet while riding to practice balancing. The hight is great for a 5 yr old and was easy to assemble.

The rear tire has a defective valve. It will not allow airflow and the tire won't inflate. I posted photos showing the difference between the valves in the front and the rear tire. The front one is fine and the tire inflates okay. But as the pictures show, the valve in the rear tire will not come all the way out like the front one. It is pinched inside. I tried pulling it out but it will not come out any more. As you can see in the photo, there is a small gray layer of film that's jamming the valve. Something is seriously wrong. I asked customer service to just send me a replacement rear tire because I would like to keep the bike, but they said I should just return it and get my money back. I hope the seller is reading this, if you send me a replacement rear tire (with the built in wheel) I won't return and I'll revise my review. ===============READ REVIEW UPDATE BELOW======================== UPDDATE 10-06-2024 --> I've revised this review to 5 stars because the seller was very accommodating and solved my problem quickly and I am happy now. As you can read above, initially there was a problem with the valve in the rear tire. I contacted the seller and told them the problem. They immediately shipped a brand new tire directly to me with a pre-installed inner tube and valve that works well. And they even included an extra inner tube in the package in case I need an extra one in the future. This was ALL at NO additional cost. They packaged everything very carefully with lots of bubble wrap so it arrived in mint condition. My child has been using the bike now and loves it. The air tires offer very good traction, better than foam wheels. The frame is well built, sturdy and light. The paint job is also very good. The seat height adjusts with a snap-adjuster which makes it easier and faster. This is a great balance bike, I recommend it. (fyi, if you have a problem with your bike, I recommend contacting the seller to give them a chance to fix the problem. I contacted Amazon first, but they didn't really help me, they just told me to return it. Then I decided to contact the seller and they quickly fixed the problem, saving me the hassle of returning and ordering a replacement, or shopping for a different bike. Now my child and I are very happy with this bike)

Great bike but do yourself a favor and buy quality replacement tubes from the start. My son didn’t have a chance to ride it on his birthday because the front tube had a hole it in. Also, when replacing the tube, I would remove the rubber spoke liner and use gorilla tape, then put the rubber back over the tape. This will help protect the tube from getting punctured by the sharp parts of the spoke I found inside of the wheel.
