Lovely linen
In love working with linen - it's a timeless, natural fabric that is easy to work with and can be used in so many different projects. I especially loved this grey checked design, as it was a great complement to the decor in my kitchen. This linen has a very nice hand. It feels soft and drapey without being flimsy. It is well woven and the colors are really attractive. It is a lighter weight, which will make it perfect for tea towels and napkins. I did not find any defects and it was accurately cut. If you are looking for a lovely linen, this is a great choice.

Quality Linen Fabric
This is really nice linen fabric! I got this because I’m. Holding a dollhouse and thought it would be perfect to make little curtains, table cloths, various linens for that. It will be perfect. It’s nice, lightweight linen. Nice plaid pattern, with bright colors. The price is a bit steep, but this is 100% linen. I would absolutely recommend it.

This linen is the real deal
This is true high quality medium weight linen fabric. I ordered and received 1 full measured yard that was cut neatly on grain. This linen hasn't achieved its full softness yet. I wouldn't expect that as it take several washings. I wash my linen hot for the first washing to get the shrinking out of the way before it's made up. Yes, it did shrink and it crinkled up in the low heat drier just as expected for linen. It is a medium weight suitable for pants, shorts, tops, aprons, dresses, skirts, table cloths, napkins or curtains. So many options ! The plaid and color is exactly as shown in the listing. It is a very nice small (~1/8") plaid. I don't have a specific plan for it yet, but I have several solid linens that it will coordinate with. At the current listed price of $17.00 per yard, this is one of the better values that I have seen for 100% linen especially for a print/plaid. I do recommend this linen.

Very Pretty~~!!
I think this is my 4 piece of linen from this company and all have been consistent. This fabric has finally grown on me! At first I was really thrown off by the light brown color as it’s close to a faded dirt stain brown. But after having it for a few months we’ve gotten to know each other ^_^ it’s very soft, light, breezy and flowy. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it as I realized it doesn’t suite my skin tone when its close to my face so I’m thinking of an asymmetrical, layered skirt with this fabric, cotton lace and a medium weight muslin cotton for a little stability. Maybe I could layer this linen with a super lightweight muslin and make a fairly wide muslin edge along the bottom seam (instead of extra bulk from additional bias tape). I will definitely update with the final product!!

Beautiful Quality and Soft Feel—Perfect for Lightweight Projects!
I ordered this 100% Linen Fabric in Tartan Red for a sewing project, and I am very impressed with the overall quality and feel of the material. It has that classic, high-end linen look with a beautiful plaid pattern. Performance and Quality: Natural and Breathable: Made from 100% natural flax, the fabric is extremely lightweight and breathable. It’s exactly what you want for apparel or summer home projects. Pre-Washed Softness: One of the best features is that it comes pre-washed. It has a wonderfully soft touch right out of the package, and I was pleased to find that it doesn't shrink or warp after a light cleaning. True to Size: The 1-yard pre-cut was accurate, and the 51-52” width provided plenty of surface area for my quilting and sewing needs. Working with the Fabric: The only thing to be aware of—which is common with high-quality natural linen—is that it has a bit of a tendency to fray at the edges. Because it is lightweight, I would highly recommend reinforcing your seams or using a serger/zigzag stitch to ensure the longevity of your project. Verdict: This is a beautiful, vibrant linen that feels great against the skin. If you are looking for a soft, breathable fabric for clothing or crafts, this Tartan Red linen is a fantastic choice. Just be sure to finish your edges properly to keep it looking its best!

Lightweight genuine linen with beautiful plaid
This is real 100% flax linen with that breathable, natural texture you expect. The madras blue plaid looks just like the photos and the colors are very pretty in person. It has that slightly crisp linen hand but still feels nice to work with. It is on the lightweight side, so I wouldn’t use this for anything that needs to be thick or very structured. It’s better suited for warm weather garments or smaller sewing projects. I’ve already used it to make a sewing machine cover and it turned out great, and I’m planning to make linen hair scrunchies next. I also love sewing with plaid because the pattern lines make it easy to cut straight and line pieces up accurately, which makes the whole process more enjoyable.

Nice quality linen garment fabric
I almost didn't get this item when I saw it because I thought "$16 for one yard of fabric? You've got to be kidding me! And what am I going to do with only one yard?" Needless to say, I don't buy high quality fabric very often. Most of the sewing I've done has been with thrifted or gifted fabric. However, after a quick look at current prices for comparable fabric online, I picked this up with the intention of making a nice linen shirt for summer. My thoughts upon receiving it are that the fabric is very lovely and has a very nice feel and heft to it. It's soft and airy, yet heavy enough to not be see-through when the garment is constructed. I would say that it's a medium weight fabric and very appropriate for garment making. I love the plaid pattern and the blue/tan colors. I expect this fabric will make a very nice summer shirt and I look forward to sewing it up. Having looked up prices online, as I said before, I do think that this fabric is worth the asking price of $16 a yard. It is definitely not low quality or thin fabric and as best I can tell, is a good quality product.
