Nice and bright, just what i wanted, easy to set up.

Very well made item, had to straighten it out on a table beneath some heavy books before applying strong double sided tape to fix it under a shelf. power cable needed extending to reach first available plug socket but that is easy enough. Gives off a decent light, not too bright but just right.

I bought this to replace a more traditional LED 'rope' that we had running around the edge of our driveway. Pros - it looks great. I mean, really great. In the past I've used traditional outdoor LED tape, LED rope, and this. This is by far the best looking. I normally get cold white, but they didn't have it in stock for delivery within a couple of months, so I got warm white, and it still looks great. Easy to fit, and with a decent length of cable. It has a transformer on it which I assumed needed to be kept dry, so there was a bit of fiddling to get that as well as the plug into a waterproof box. Cons - It using special clips to keep the light vertical - the light comes out of the top. Supposedly there was 1 clip per metre - so there should have been 10 clips. I only received 9, which turned out to be a real pain, as I really needed that 10th one. Also, not sure that 10 is really enough - there doesn't seem to be an option to purchase more. Because it is mounted vertically, it deforms quite badly if you step on it. More clips would probably help with this. So it looks absolutely great (particularly from a distance), but it isn't without it's (minor) problems. Edit: It lasted about 12 months before it finally gave up during some VERY heavy rain in Dec 22. I've been impressed enough to buy another one, but I'll take more care to waterproof it this time. I suspect the end eventually gave way and allowed water in, but it's very hard to be sure. Edit: Now onto my third one. Judging by past experience, it looks like it lasts about 12 months on average outdoors, but it has endured all weathers and a fairly strenuous jetwash. My most recent purchase was Oct 23, and all the above comments still stand - the clips are poor quality, there aren't enough of them, and they don't come with screws. The join between the main cable and the strip itself is probably a weak point - I'd recommend using some extra silicone on this. Still a good product for the price. I'm pretty sure my previous strip is salvageable - I shall cut it and try to rejoin it to my new one and see what happens.

Regarding the product itself - the quality feels VERY good and the brightness is brilliant. The only thing that's not so great about the product is the mounting brackets - one bracket per meter is simply not enough. You need at least 3-5 brackets per meter to make sure the light actually stays straight and doesnt sag down. Now to the problem - I ordered 4m neon which arrived very promptly (1-3 days). When I opened it and plugged it in there was quite a bang followed by a spark and the light is burned. This kind of stuff can happen and I'm not really mad / annoyed by the fact. What annoyed me ALOT was trying to actually return the item. I went to two different drop off locations just to find out that both of their systems are not working and they can not accept the return. It cost me over 2 hours of my time and 4 pounds to get there. And it was absolutely pointless. The next closest drop off location to me is 20 minute drive in a car (which I dont have) so I just completely gave up on the refund. Im just stuck with burned light now. Thanks to Amazon's ridiculously incompetent partners this seller just got negative review. I apologise and hope they will have understanding.

Brilliant product. Not as vibrant as the pics but still very very good colour. Different manufacturers/sellers have different shades though.. (i bought single colour not rgb) and it was slightly different green so used it somewhere else. Other than that it is an amazing product absolute bargain I've seen them three times this price the neon rope itself is 100% waterproof apart from the endz which can easily be waterproofed with self amalgamating tape... obviously the controller needs to go in an ip66 box if going outside and the 240v ac in cable( the bit that plugs into the wall socket) will need extending as it comes with about 30cm cable . Well worth the effort of modding to suit your needs. Totally recommend this seller and will be buying more

Great light, nice and soft warm and even. It's quite heavy and less flexible than a strip light. I found it was easier to get it straight and in the corners when the light had warmed up a bit and became more pliable. Because it comes rolled up on a coil, in hindsight I should have laid it flat for a few days to straighten out. Things I do not like: - The clips are silver and they stand out against the white light - There was not enough clips to get it to stay nice and flat all around, so at some points in between clips it bends a little. I bought 20 metres (used 17m.) - Where the light goes through the clips it's raised a few mm's off the surface (because of the clip itself and the screw head). This made it very difficult to put it up nice and straight on top of my picture rail. An adhesive strip would have been much easier and better. - There was no screws supplied with the clips and it was hard to find ones small enough to fit the holes - The power cable + plug is only about 30 cm. so if you want this along your ceiling you will have to put up with an extension cable on your wall or rewire it (which will invalidate the warranty)

I had a rope light running along the Garage wall and round to the hot tub before but it started to loose lights (well more like sections) so was looking for sometime at led strips to replace it, and at long last I found this. It casts an even light along it entire length better I think than the led lights without a defused front lens. Very flexible and this was tie wrapped in place running along the arma plated cable that runs to a mains outlet. I think it looks super cool and now just hope it withstands the weather, hot and cold - rain or snow.

Still works grate after 6 months at least, recommended
