Material is durable, but little to no strech
The material on this suit has very little stretch, compared to 'regular' swimsuit material. That has some pros and cons for me- Pros- this is holding up very well. I lap swim a few times a week, and this suit has zero fuzzy snags or other blemishes, after wearing it for a few months. My old suit was instantly fuzzy from me sitting on the side of the pool/snagging it places. So far the chlorine has also not been fading the colors either. Cons- little stretch has translated, at least on my body, to little support for my chest. I have wide hips and a long torso, so I purchased based on those measurements. But this has left the top part of the suit a bit loose, leaving me with little support up there. Not the best. I don't need 'tummy control', but I like some compression in any of my workout gear, swimsuits included. The lack of stretch takes that compression feeling away. I don't need compression to make the suit more flattering, but keeping everything in place helps me get a better workout. There is also only lining on the front of the suit, which makes me a bit nervous.

Stylish & Fantastic Fit
This stylish swimsuit has a fantastic look and design! It fits perfectly and is so comfortable. It is true to size and moves well with your body. It is chlorine resistant and evo friendly which I love. It stands up to use and looks just as great after washing. I love how durable and comfortable the quality material is. It has become my new favorite swimwear while I am getting my swim in. Definitely recommend!!

Quality training suit
Overall a nice swimsuit. The fabric is quite thick and seems like it will last a while, although it does seem to be on the less stretchy side, providing a more "athletic" fit. It seems pretty comfortable, though, and the pattern and color is pretty attractive, as well. It is rather expensive, though, at just over $74 at time of review.

Durable and comfortable for regular swimming
Arena has been one of my go-to swimwear brands for years. I’ve been swimming for over 35 years, so durability, fit, and comfort during daily training really matter to me. This suit fits well, feels supportive without restricting movement, and holds up nicely for regular pool use. The fabric feels solid and appropriate for frequent training, and the thin straps give it a more feminine look while still feeling secure. I also really like the pattern, sporty but not plain. Overall, it performs exactly how I expect a training suit to perform.

fit tolerances seem too low for growing juniors, should have sized up
This is definitely a "performance fit" suit so if you're growing or on the sizing edge you'll want to size up or risk discomfort as the "height" sizing chart seems to be fairly low tolerance for measuring error. My daughter is 5'5" but she grew 2" in a year so I wasn't expecting the fit of the size 28 to be so small but since the 30 is only .4" bigger height wise it seems like even a small amount of growth could lead to a poor fit. For a "training" suit I would have expected a bit more elasticity as growing .4" shouldn't be enough to make a suit feel worse but I think in this case you'll need to test it for yourself. Overall the suit is a high quality fabric and the print is nice, but be warned the sizing and fit can be challenging for fast growing juniors.

Performance fabric = snug fit
Casual swimmers may want to size up. Arena’s performance fabric has minimal stretch compared to a typical casual swimsuit. This can make it challenging to put on if you have wide hips, but the fabric performs great in the water. Using the size chart I chose a 36 based on my waist and bust, but my hips are closer to a 38 in size. The suit fits it snuggly and creates minimal drag during my masters swim practice. If I were not trying to beat the swimmer next to me, I would’ve chosen a 38 or maybe even 40 for a more comfortable fit. As it is now, I have to squeeze the suit over my hips when putting it on and it is a bit cheeky, however, there is virtually no drag created compared to my previous swimsuits due to the snug fit. You will feel faster on turns and dives! The fabric holds minimal water when getting out of the pool and drys pretty quickly.

Competition-level swimsuit, thinner straps might not be the preference
This is definitely a competition-level swimsuit and depending on the size and your preference may be a great fit. I have a 13 yo 5'5" competitive swimmer and the size 32 fits well. The fabric and the stitching is excellent, you can be assured that it will not be falling apart quickly, dissolving in water, fading the colors or loosing the shape. In fact, I see this exact style of swimsuit on multiple athletes at the swim meets. I also know a team that ordered this style of swimsuit for all their swimmers. There were are couple of specific comments from my swimmer. For one, the fabric, although is a high performance, does not appear to be slick and smooth on the outside as comparable to other swimsuits. While it does seem to be smooth, the other swimsuits have a bit more of a sheen to them. The other comment was about the thinner straps. While strong and comfortable, she preferred slightly wider straps. Overall, this is an excellent and durable swimsuit that will survive many hours of performance swimming in the pool.

Good practice suit, great design!
I’ve been a swimmer since childhood, and in adult life, I like to hop in the pool a couple of times a week to stay well rounded and to cross train. Arena is a big name in competitive swimwear, so I was excited to try this suit. What I like: -Love the design and colors — really stylish, and it stands out without being too flashy. -The fit is true to size. -Straps aren’t too tight over the shoulder. What could be better: -I wish it had a bit more compression in the chest area. Sometimes I feel like it could offer more support or structure there. -Because of the lighter lining, it’s not as “snug” as I might want in certain spots, though this is a trade-off I’m mostly okay with. Overall: This is a really good practice suit. It’s comfortable, stylish, and well-fitting. If you want something for training (rather than competition), it’s definitely worth considering — especially if you don’t need super-tight compression. I’m happy with it, and I think most swimmers looking for a reliable practice suit will be too.
