I’ve been using these stationary chair glides for a little while now, and they’re definitely built with solid materials. The construction feels sturdy and durable, and they install like standard casters, so swapping them onto a chair or stool is pretty straightforward. Once they’re on, they do a good job of keeping the chair from rolling around, which is exactly what they’re meant to do. Where they really shine is on hard floors. On wood, tile, or similar surfaces, they keep the chair steady and planted without feeling too harsh or unstable. On carpet, though, they weren’t my favorite—there’s enough resistance that the chair doesn’t move smoothly, and it can feel a bit “stuck” depending on the thickness of the carpet. For the value, they’re a good option if you specifically want to keep a chair from rolling on a hard floor, but I’d be more hesitant to recommend them for carpeted areas.
