There's a lot more to our infant/toddler crew socks than meets the eye. While his feet are kept toasty warm, he's also kept a little bit safer and the task of laundering is made just a little bit easier.

These are the best.
I nannied before I had kids. They had these socks. When my own got to be preschool age I bought a couple other brands and these. These are the better ones. I bought Fruit of the Loom and Gold Toe. They don't fit as well. The Fruit of the Loom have holes already. Gold toe are too thick. These socks are durable, they are cheap, they stay up, they fit great, and because they are LABELLED you can keep your kids socks straight! I think that is like number one reason to get them. As a nanny in a house with kids of different ages it was tough to remember who had which socks. This takes the guessing out. Also easy to match pairs. I would say having the different number of bands around the ankles kinda sucks because I'm stuck matching them, but that they are labelled with the sizes is great. The letters help kids not to slip on hardwoods, another great feature.I have seen some much better socks. Socks that cost $7 a pair given by rich grandparents as birthday presents for 3 year olds are indeed better than these. These ones do fade, and they are not as soft as the $7 a pair ones. So if you can afford $7 a pair socks don't get these. But if you don't want to pay $7 a pair for socks and are looking for socks that are comfortable durable, stay up etc. get these socks. Unless you have multiple sized kids feet in your house, then still get these over the $7 a pair socks. Or get the $7 a pair socks monogrammed that would work to.Another great thing about these is that they come in so many different sizes. I would say they run a bit small or at least they stay up so well you can go up a size so they fit for a longer period of time. Get one size larger than what your child is. Get your 6 month old the 12m, get your older two / young 3 year old the 4-5's.

6-12 mos. not as pictured (cuter but less useful)
The item as pictured (white and gray) is the only type of sock I've found that babies under a year can't scrunch off their feet. Our daycare provider told me about this after I complained of yet another adorable pair of socks being flug far and wide by tiny feet. Since then, we've used these and really liked them. I was really disappointed to order these for a friend and find that the 6-12 month size are not the pictured item (with the long "tube" part to the sock), but are an anklet with only a short rutched area to keep the sock on. They don't stay on the baby's foot. On the plus side, they are in cute colors (pale blue and yellow for the ones I received), so I suppose I will give these as a gift and get the real thing, ugly but effective, at one of the Big Box stores. Highly recommend the socks as pictured; we've purchased them in each size up since the 12-24 months for our son, and they are a great go-to sock for daily wear.

SAFETY IN GRIPPER SOCKS, Comfort IN HANES TODLER SOCKS! HIS SISTER WORE THESE HANES SOCKS TOO!!!
GREAT GRIPPER SOCKS FOR my.soon to be one year grand-son to grow into. He stands alone, but refuses to take a step now, even when hands are supported. IT WILL NOT BE LONG NOW! He is one of the fastest crawlers ever with great muscle strength and tone.(I WAS WATCHING THE DR. OZ SHOW RECENTLY, and it was a great celebration of his beautiful little Grand-daughter's FIRST BIRTHDAY Dr.Oz held her little hands up to support her in taking a step. No way was this little cherub going to take one step. She sat right down. He gave her a B D gift of one of those little seated walkers to move around with her feet.. I WOULD SUGGEST MAKING THESE SOCKS IN FAIRLY LARGE SIZES. FOR THOSE KIDS WHO RUN AROUND IN shorts, pajamas and night gowns wearing regular SOCKS on hardwood floors and slick tulle. Please conside rHanes, and other kid gripper sock manufacturers!

So good!
I love these little socks. So many baby/toddler socks are only a little higher than ankle socks and I always wanted something that would rise just a little bit higher so my boy could get some protection on his ankles when it's cool out and he's sitting in his stroller. Crew socks are hard to find in tiny sizes like this, so I didn't hesitate to buy these when I found them on here. He's only a little over a year old, and it currently wearing size 18m clothing, so we got him these socks since he's got some big feet. They're only a little bit large on him and we're very happy with the fit. He also wasn't able to yank them off of himself like he does with most socks, so that's a definite plus! They'll last him well into his 2nd year with this sizing, and we fully intend to buy some more! Love these socks!

Great socks for an active boy!
My two year old grandson is moving full speed from the time he gets up in the morning. In the house we mostly wear our socks with no shoes and previous socks purchased for him have always had a tendency to either slip on the hardwood floors, regardless of the 'grip', and/or to wear down and partially come off. The Hanes are great. They are stretchy so they fit wonderfully, and THEY STAY UP and ON, and the grip seems to be working very very well. Highly recommend them.Revision four months later. We still recommend them, however we recommend that you buy larger than you need. We find that washing shrunk them somewhat and between four months of a toddlers growing and the shrinking, he's already grown out of them. We do still like them and have purchased some but purchased the 4T size. Hopefully they will last a bit longer.

Runs small but good Hanes quality
We trust Hanes as a brand (my husband and I both wear Hanes brand socks) so when I wanted to buy some socks for my son I searched for Hanes socks only. My son is 2.5 and normally wears size 3 socks, but I read other reviewers say these socks run small so I got him this pack of 4T-5T socks. They fit my son perfectly, with just a tad bit of "growing room". I like that they have "grippies" on the bottoms of the socks so my son can walk/run around on our wood floors in his socks and not slip. I've already washed the socks a few times and so far they are holding up well. I gave only 4 stars instead of 5 because the size is misleading (if i didn't read the other reviews first and bought size 3 socks they probably would have been too small).

Haynes boys crew socks
Very pleased. Bought a set for my soon to be four year old grandson. The quality is good and has non-skid grips. They are long enough to last him for a long time.
