Mid 2017 Apple MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, with 3.1GHz Intel Core i5 (13-inch, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD) - Space Gray (Renewed)

This is the fifth Macbook I've purchased over the years for myself and my family - three new, two used (including this one). The Amazon restored machines are a tremendous value and this one was no exception. I've had it now for a couple of months, use it daily, and it's as good as new. It was delivered exactly as described. The battery is certainly in a used state (as would be expected from a, yes, used laptop) with a good number of charge cycles but it's certainly not worse than what I would expect. Even if I chose to buy a new battery, which I don't really need, it'd still be a great value. Overall, I'll likely buy our next Macbook from Amazon.

I ordered a Macbook Pro 13" with retina bar 3.1 ghz 8gb, and I realized pretty quickly that it had a defect. I contacted Tech Ventures and they were absolutely amazing in problem solving with me. We determined the laptop needed to be replaced, and my service rep "R" took great care of me and got the replacement out ASAP. The new machine works like a dream, and had a brand new battery which was a major score! (It had 0 charges when I turned it on and looked at the battery cycles.) The only minor issue was shipping delays caused by covid and a big storm on the east coast at the time, but that wasn't the fault of Tech Ventures. Will be purchasing renewed items from them in the future for sure!

scam. the laptop was defective , had knick’s and chips in it , kept shutting off making me loose my work until it shut off completely on me with my apple id and social , credit cards, passwords, photos etc.. on it. and they wanted me to return it with all my personal information on there. and when i explained my problem to the seller he just kept copy and pasting the same message to me over and over again about the 90 policy and 30 day refund which did not help in my case. and since this is a 3rd party seller, amazon told me they can’t do anything about it unless it was returned which i dont trust it being returned with no passcode on the laptop basically insinuating they would have full reign to do anything with my sensitive information. they should really update who responds to messages because no matter what i said, the same copy and paste message about the policy would be the reply they send me even when i told them that’s not helping. i even asked were they listening and clearly they weren’t because the same message is throughout our entire seller-buyer conversation. this is frustrating as i used this laptop for work and it has sensitive work information on there as well as i do property management. so not only would my info be leaked but every community we manage as well personal information will be leaked as well. i do not trust this seller at all. i would stay away. and i dont even write reviews typically. this is the first ever problem i’ve ran into while using amazon. i’m in disbelief right now as i thought they had better policies in place. and to the seller ; you need to do better and stop scamming people. if your products are defective STOP SELLING THEM. it’s not like it $2.00 were spending , it’s HUNDREDS of dollars going to waste on these products people assuming are working.

The Apple is a fine product but there was no mention in the advertisement that you would need additional plugs and wires to set up the computer. This is an added expense of about $61.00

MacBook Pro macOS13.7.5 (22H527) Mid 2017, 3.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650. Excellent condition (like new). This has exceeded my expectations. Nice picture and runs smooth. Top right corner is slightly damaged, unnoticeable if not looking, does not affect the MacBook Pro. I’m in love with this laptop.

It all happened one night when I was about to head home from a party with my buddy Matt. This would be like any other night except this night I knew I had to cross the metaphorical Rubicon and break up with my girlfriend. Me and Matt were buddies but not super close as to where I would inform him of my plans to plummet head-first into a life of singleness. As Matt and I walked to our car, I saw her in the parking lot and knew the moment had come. Setting my backpack down in front of the car and told Matt I would only be a minute. Anyway, you can imagine what followed. This conversation went long and nasty, and Matt grew impatient and pulled the car forward to tell me it was time to go. I will never be able to shake the sound of the crunch of my 2017 Apple MacBook Pro with touch bar, 3.1GHz Intel Core i5, and 13" retina display as Matt ran over my backpack. Anyway, the laptop worked great until then :)

I bought this renewed product about 3 weeks ago. I am quite satisfied with it. It's almost brand-new, better than I expected. One thing less satisfactory is the battery life is a little bit shorter than brand-new one. Other than that, I am happy with it. Thank you for sending a good product.

Do not purchase this mac book pro, it is a solid machine but unfortunately with the board problems and the battery life running (with ventura OS) only 3h or less... this purchase was a disaster, the mac run really good for 1 year now it's only a matter of time that I need to return the mac. Worst investment ever

La Mac hasta El momento funciona bien, solo que su cargador no es el original y la pila no dura mas que la mitad de lo que debería de funcionar.

Fisicamente la maquina estaba impecable, si bien el cargador no era el original todo funcionaba correctamente. Pero descubri que la bateria se consumia aun cuando la maquina se quedaba conectada con la tapa abajo. Eso me hizo pensar que pudiera ser un problema mayor y la tuve que regresar.

Tiene pocos ciclos de batería (202), cuenta con detalle estético (mancha) y Leo cargador es genérico, al principio cargaba sin problema, pero después ya no y eso que lo conectaba varias veces, pero tardo en cargar o cargaba cuando quería , por lo que tienes que hacer un gasto adicional para comprar leo cargador original

No dan factura y la máquina está lenta.
