MUST-HAVE NAIL BITS -- perfect for cleaning underside of nails and cuticles as well as filing and quality is great!!!
Yes, these bits are small just as they should be for their intended purpose. These are amazing bits of an ideal size for cleaning gel polish, hard gels and acrylics from both the underside of the nail and the cuticles.I don't know if they are the 'standard' size for nail drills and dremels, because I use a screw-on dremel chuck I bought on Amazon that enables me to use bits of almost any size and switch from one bit to another instantly. If you don't have such a chuck, make it your next purchase. Dremel 4486 MultiPro Keyless Chuck: price varies within Amazon, so the first item up may not be cheapest. The flat top barrel shaped bits in this kit were a revelation to me. If I put the dremel on the slowest setting, they painlessly rub off any excess product of any type I've slopped over my fingers. These would have saved me so many bloody nails! The skinny pointy ones are also incredibly useful. Whether I've created nails free stye or with a nail form I can thin them down evenly to a point where I can pick up a dime or even a pin with them. The kit even contains a larger barrel over which you pop the coarse sanding drums, which use to strip off the top layer of gel polish manicures (you can buy giant bag with hundreds of refills supercheap).(I wouldn't use anything a grit this course if I had 'naked' nail beneath the polish, but I intend to keep my natural nails permanently covered with at least a thin layer of hard gel that will persist from manicure to manicure. Since I began using a tinted brand, I have ceased soaking in acetone completely in favor of filing down to the hard gel layer when it's time to change polish. Saves lots of time and my cuticles are lots healthier.)I saw some negative reviews of these bits and honestly I can't figure out why, unless you receive an incomplete kit.No, they're not brass, but you're not using them to grind anything hard enough to wear them down, nor for wet applications. All work just as well as a single nail bit I purchased for $15 and I can't see why I would ever need to replace them apart from losing them. The product arrived complete, exactly as shown, in record time. Thrilled with this purchase! Many thanks to the seller.

For the price I should give it 5 stars but I do wish they were a tiny bit larger.
I do my own Nails for a few reasons, I don't keep them on for a very long time. ( a woman's nail beds need to absorb air and water to stay healthy) Most Nail salons are full of germs and bacteria, just not clean. You never know, who was in the chair before you, who and how experienced, if, or how the implements of destruction were sterilized. And the main reason is there is nothing like a fresh new set. (without someone ripping off the old ones because of their time limits. And the co$t for a crappy set of nails is ridiculous.I purchased 2 of these sets in January of 2013, because I was not sure how long they would last. They are very good. They could be a little larger but they work great, and they fit my Dremel just fine. Also I have not opened the 2nd set. For the price I should give it 5 stars but I do wish they were a tiny bit larger.I recommend this set but you don't need 2 because they last.

Would give it 5 stars if they didn't fall out of my drill.
My drill was given to me as a birthday present by someone who didn't understand the difference between acrylic and natural nails, so these bits probably fit in an acrylic drill, but most of them spin out of my little drill after a while. The only one that stays in is the one that holds the sanding bands, so that's convenient. But, like I say, they probably fit an acrylic drill fine. But for a dollar fifty, who cares?

Great drills
I have bought 3 of the drill file bits sets. One for myself and 2 for other family members, because they work great. Terrific product for the money. I use them on my Vogue Professional manicure drill. Bits work well on natural nails and acrylic nails. You wont be sorry if you purchase these.
