Don't Be Mr. Wonderful
These headphones are not the best, but at this price it was not really surprised. I got them as backup for a nicer pair that I didn't want to overused or damaged needlessly. That nicer pair of headphones I picked up at Costco about two years ago. I like them quite a bit, yet they starting to show their age. They are more comfortable and smaller in size and as just as power as the ATH-SJ11 headphones, if not more so.I say if you don't want to spend too much these headphones are fine, in fact I got a pair that cost somewhat less, about $16 that were okay for short use. I believe I wouldn't spend more on headphone of this quality -- I say this would be my limit. I just don't like earbuds, something like this is the next best thing if you want to treat headphones like earbuds.I believe, when it is possible, to limit our use of headphones and earbuds, especially earbuds. I've heard their not good for your ears and in any case when using a desktop computer to play audio I think it is best done with computer speakers. The cost of some of these headphone is absolutely ridiculous. I think it is a mistake to pay too much for headphones. When I see someone with highly expensive headphones I believe they are telling people that they are Mr. Wonderful, so super into music that people should marvel at them and what is worst about the issue is when it is just about the namesake of the headphone maker. If you are going to spend more than these headphone you would probably be better off with a nicer set of computer speakers. I write this because for all the money I paid for headphones I might be happier with a new set of desktop computer speakers. Most of the time I only use these ATH-SJ11 Headphones is when it is late at night and I don't want to wake anyone.

Very Portable, Extremely Light
Have had the black variant of the SJ11s for at least a year now. Just got the green now. I’m no audiophile, so while I can’t quite give a comparison of its audio performance in comparison to other well respected brands or even higher priced items from AT, I can say that they play both music and video a bit more clear and crisp than the Sony MDR ZX 300s. The real high points of these headphones that have made them my absolute favorite, however, have been their size, funtionality, and simple portability. Never have I enjoyed using a pair of headphones more than these ones, not to mention their (imo) sleek and stylish design. They fold up beautifully, weigh next to nothing and also give reasonable comfort for the ears. I’m honestly surprised Audio-Technica haven’t had issues restocking these headphones with all the quality and functionality these cups provide. They may be a cheaper pair of headphones, but they are most definitely ones worth every penny. If I could, I would buy at least 2 more pairs, just because love them.

Cable too short for riding a spin bike.
I bought these to replace a 10 year old set I bought. These were not the same model number as those but were obviously the latest version of the old set. They are fine, but the cable is several feet shorter than the old pair's cable. Good length for walking around with a walkman on your belt (not sure if anyone does that anymore) but about a foot too short to use for what mine were for - listening to my laptop while riding a trainer bike. The cable is just short enough to make this an annoying task. Otherwise, great set of affordable headphones.

ATH-SJ11 headphones very good for what they cost
This Audio Technica model is sold by Amazon on two different sites; I purchased mine from this one. Fairly comfortable overall; to overcome downward pressure, I needed to tape a piece of foam on the inside of the headband. The earpieces themselves are fine, and the clamping force is moderate. The sound is generally forward with emphasis on parts of the mid-range and treble. Not for bassheads, but the bass should be adequately "punchy" for most listeners. Overall, a fun, vivid and bright, rather than smooth, laid-back sound. Depending on the source material, this type of sound coloration might be a plus. Small, lightweight, all plastic frame; have had them only a few weeks and can't comment on their durability. Very good value for portable headphones priced under $30. Reviewed in en.goldenears.net.

Light Weight
The headphone fits my needs perfectly. I do a lot of yard work and the time goes much faster while listening to music on my iPhone and the headphone is easier on my ears than ear buds are. Ear buds hurt the inside of my ears after long use, and the headphone is so light on my head I hardly notice it. I could wear this headphone all day if necessary and they could not be worrisome.

Perfect Headphones For The Price / Quality Calculus
I get very tired of buying headphones. I don't want cheap, crappy headphones but I'm not going to throw down a bunch of money for headphones that I have to throw away because the male connector jack gets bent. This is a recurring problem for me. I continue to go down in price for the headphones I buy. These are the perfect price / performance in my opinion. @ $20 If I have to throw these away, I'm not crestfallen, as with the pricier ones I've purchased. These sound great, are priced well and they are quite comfortable. I was recommended this brand by an audio engineer. I really love this pair of headphones. I like them enough that I'll buy them again if I bend the connecting jack and I need to replace them! ;)

Good for the average user
This is great for me because I just wanted something better than my $8 headphones that I own. The sound quality is pretty good but don’t expect them to be the best quality you’ve ever heard. They’re great for the price. This feels so comfortable on my head (I have a pretty big head and hate headphones that clamp too hard). It’s very lightweight. It’s kind of flimsy like, but that’s just bc of the portable design. I really love that the ear pads are very comfortable as well. I would definitely purchase this again.

Pretty good for the money
I’ve gone through several headphones and earbuds in the last couple of week and I’ve never been satisfied. This one is my go to now for in home use. Sound quality is pretty good without EQ. I just wish there was some sort of padding where the plastic sits at the scalp.

Wow. I didnt expect that. Materials are not the best, but that sound is totally my cup of tea. At this price it is surely the best option.

Thought they would be much bigger and heavier.. They had rave reviews but it's cheap plastic and they are sooooo smalll. Sound quality is nothing to rave about. Wire is short sooooo short.

Muy buenos para usar en la calle
El diseño es cómodo y elegante, pero sobre todo no transmiten el sonido de las pisadas propias al caminar y atenuan el ruido de los coches en la calle.
